Another Fine Fest Not Returning until 2026

Just announced: One of Ulverston's biggest events, Another Fine Fest, have announced that they will not return in 2025 and will instead delay plans to come back strong the following year. The next Fine Fest will be held on the 20th and 21st of June, 2026.

With several factors in play, including the health of festival director Dave Crossley, increased costs and lack of funding, Another Fine Fest posted to their Facebook page that they could not at this point guarantee a quality event if they had moved forward this year.

"We have not arrived at this decision lightly," wrote Crossley. "Many sleepless nights have been involved! We are so very sorry to the organisations that htis festival generates funds for (St Mary's Hospice and Ulverston Food Project) and to all that were looking forward to our next event (or may have speculatively made any plans for it!), whether as one of our brilliant partner venues, promotors or traders, our lovely festival goers or as one fo the hoards of awesome creative people who would have been making Ulverston vibrate this summer!"

Crossley also notes that to continue on in 2026, they'll need support and will be launching a crowdfunder to help with costs. We'll make sure to share any donation links here when available.
