The Furness Tradition festival returns to various venues around Ulverston starting Friday 11th July.
Now in its 27th year, the festival promotes traditional music, dance and arts throughout the community. The weekend starts off with a Friday gathering at Hope and Anchor, along with a music session at King's Head, both starting at 8pm that evening.
On Saturday morning starting at 9am, there will be traditional children's games as well as children's art inside The Coro. Then at 9:45am, see the opening Dance Parade going from County Square to Market Cross.
After that, enjoy dance displays and live music throughout the day at various outdoor locations, as well as a Singers Session at 1pm at Hope and Anchor and a Music Session at the same time at The Old Friends.
There will be concerts running throughout the day at The Coro, with tickets available for £12.50 plus £1 commission (£18 for the main evening concert, starting at 7:30pm).
Finally, on Sunday 13th July, there's a Singing Workshop as well as Stories and Shadows with Ian & Jo Douglas at The Spot on Victoria Road.
The festival wraps up at 1pm Sunday with the Finale Concert at the Red Rose.
