Scenes from Dickensian Day One

Storm Bert came in with a force this morning as the majority of the day brought strong wind and heavy rain to Ulverston. Luckily for this writer, the weather cleared for a bit in the early afternoon. Judging by the crowds at Dickensian, most people had the same idea and raced down to get their hands on locally made products, hear the live music, and see the parade before the tree was lit at 4pm.
